UHI Update on their research into possible beaver re-introduction to the river system in Strathglass.
RESEARCH PROJECT IN BEAULY –
“We are an independent research team at UHI (University of the Highlands and Islands) commissioned by NatureScot to study socio-cultural perceptions of beavers in Scotland.
We will be running a Community Conversation at Cannich Hall on the 3rd of October (7-9pm) to present the preliminary results from the community discussions in Beauly and provide information about the ongoing research on the impact of beavers on biodiversity and river flows.
Anyone is welcome to participate, provide feedback, ask questions, or have a chat with us! “
